Data that you supply in connection with an enquiry or project – through our form, directly via email, or via a different channel – is entirely voluntary and will be used to assess the individual project, to contact you with an offer, to carry out the project, and to invoice you after a specific project is complete. The data we collect may include:

We do not collect any financially sensitive information such as credit card numbers.
Wordcraft will make every effort to keep information and data confidential and to only disclose them for the purpose of providing the services we offer – for example to translators, project managers and other staff/freelancers working on the projects. If we use any external freelancers, they will need to accept our non-disclosure agreement.
We will keep your contact information as well as any translation memories (TMs) created using computer aided translation tools indefinitely. TMs allow us to maintain terminology consistency in future projects and offer lower prices. Any translation memory that may be generated in our projects will not be used for other clients and is thus entirely individual.
We will delete all other files after the project has been finalised, i.e. after full payment has been received.
Our computers, internet access and all emails are protected by regularly-updated antivirus and firewall software, as well as by strong passwords.
You always have the right to be informed of the personal data we process about you, and you have the right to have this data amended or deleted.
Cloud storage: We may use cloud storage to store and backup files. However, any cloud storage solution, such as Dropbox, must be GDPR compliant.

Encryption: It is your duty to notify us if the documents/data you transmit are so sensitive in nature that they require encryption when transmitted by email etc. In such cases, we will arrange a solution.
